About Us
John Cagle’s philosophy is simple: he focuses on the two parts of retirement. Most people are putting away money and accumulating assets for retirement. But too many don’t have a plan for distribution, or spending the money they’ve saved to fund their retirement lifestyle. In other words, there are two phases to retirement—the ascent or climb as you save money, and the descent or distribution phase as you spend the money you’ve saved. It’s very important to understand that the descent is as critical to your retirement success as the ascent.
When you no longer have a paycheck coming in, how will you keep from spending too much and running out of money prematurely? How will you get retirement income—which accounts should you empty first? What about taxes and RMDs which must be taken from accounts like traditional 401(k)s? John Cagle works with young professionals, families, pre-retirees and people of all ages throughout the U.S. helping people up the mountain as they save for retirement, and back down the mountain as they spend their assets to fund their retirement lifestyle.
John Cagle is a family man whose goal is to help others build the future of their dreams and master the retirement ascent and descent with successful retirement planning strategies. John’s mission is to deliver unique custom plans along with outstanding service.

Our Services
As a trained and licensed financial advisor who is independent of any particular financial institution, John Cagle has access to hundreds of strategies and services that can help people of any age 1) save for retirement, 2) generate income from their saved assets, and 3) retire without running out of money—no matter how long they may live. We believe planning ahead for the descent throughout your career can give you the greatest chance for retirement success.
You may spend 20 to 30 years or longer in retirement, and that’s why retirement planning for both phases—the ascent and descent—is so important. John’s approach is to learn as much as possible about your situation and goals, think ahead to help avert catastrophes that might occur, then create your custom plan. Your plan can then be followed and continuously updated through the decades to and through retirement, and it may include some or all of these services.
